a morning stroll

Man, I love this city.  I took an early morning walk around the park when the spring buds were just blooming and it was pure bliss.  Isn't it a wonderful thing when the temperature starts to rise and the brisk wind is calmed?  It's the beginning of something new...

I get the most peaceful sense of tranquility in the mornings as the sun is rising.

The animals are just getting up and ready for a new day.

The park is empty except for those shuffling into work.

And when the sun gets high enough, it casts a magical glow on the trees.

When was the last time you breathed in the early morning air?  I think I'll go again tomorrow.

 

Easter with McKenzie

A few weeks ago, we enjoyed our second year of spending Easter with the Vasquezes in New Jersey.  Here is sweet McKenzie...

She is such a happy, lovable girl who loooves to dance (seriously, it's precious).

Breckenridge 2010 - The Nature

This March we took another awesome trip to Breckenridge with my in-laws. We love it there.  This may turn into a bit of a long post, but please bear with me and ENJOY :)

We enjoyed our first weekend with temperatures above 50 degrees!!  To celebrate, we took a trip to Maine and enjoyed a sunny day outside - FINALLY!!  Let me tell you, if you've never been to Portland, you should definitely go. It's a cute, artsy, fishing port that is healing for the soul.  Here's a little peek.
